Business Continuity (BC)

The Government of Alberta Business Continuity Plan has been developed to interface with the existing departmental Business Continuity Plans and the identified Agencies, Boards and Commissions’ plans currently held by the Alberta Emergency Management Agency (AEMA). It provides the operational framework for a continuity response to a multi-department business disruption

This plan provides the framework by which the Alberta Government, through the Cross-Government Co-ordination Team (CGCT), will provide the necessary resources in support of departmental business continuity plans thereby facilitating an efficient recovery of all affected Government services.

The primary resource document for government departments to develop a Business Continuity Plan is the Government of  Alberta Business Continuity Guide.
